Flashback to the 80's:
I always had a desire to make wearable art, starting at the young age of 6, I made a denim skirt out of cutoffs.
I went on to make jewelry from found objects for friends and family, begging my mom to take me into craft stores on a regular basis.
Friendly plastic was my bestie and I have awesome memories of kitchen jewelry parties at my grandma's.
I attended high school in Calgary, AB and took fashion studies; I spent most of the time chatting with friends but managed to design and create a couple of epic pieces.
I toyed with going to school for fashion, but took the 'safe' route and studied business at SAIT Polytechnic.
I finished my CMA accounting designation in 2014 and was craving something creative after many hours spent in the library.
I started making studs while sitting and reading and it just went from there.
I hopped into the market scene and I was in love. My business blossomed from stud earrings into a full line-up of jewelry including rings, necklaces, bracelets, dangly earrings and body jewelry.
I would describe my personal style as 'boho chic' and I think you will see that throughout my collection of small batch and one of kind pieces.

Hi! I'm Jana!
I started this little jewelry making adventure in 2014. I would make stud earrings out of clay and glitter for my friends and family; I ended up with a lot of stud earrings.
But this wasn't the beginning of my design journey...
